Help on change username

Leicester

I want to change my username. I first conducted a search to see if my chosen username might be available which it was. But when I attempted to change it, it states the username is currently in use. I searched again but the username definitely does not bring up any profiles. Help ?

Maybe it's in use by a hidden profile? It won't show up in searches then.

Ok both are suspended accounts - I checked by creating a new temp account - definitely not blocked.

Put a . or a ! at the end of it.
