Have things changed so one can only send 1 wink per month to one profile ?

We tried to wink a friend only to be told we couldnt as we had winked then in the last 30 days.

This is part of a bugfix that stops "phantom" wink notifications being generated. As part of this change we now only allow one wink every 30 days to a profile. This seemed reasonable, otherwise there was nothing to stop someone winking again and again.

This is a good change admin. It should slow down the serial winkers.

Hi we received a wink from a profile yesterday, which i deleted. The same profile then winked again 5 minutes later.

Nor us - we've had some frequent winks over the last few weeks from the same profile.

And we've just had an email today to say we've been winked, but the wink is not in the wink page.

winks are on the blink it seems.....

What's the point of having a wink facility at all with such a stringent curtailment on it ?

What's to stop people messaging daily ? Or are messages going to be subject to rationing also?

It's going to get very difficult to make contact here soon.

Someone winked at me before and he'd winked at me yesterday but I couldn't wink at him as the restriction seems to be working on my profile and I don't appreciate it one bit.

Works both ways..Would you like a profile whom you have no interest in winking or friend requesting you every 2nd day?
