Ability to edit a forum post for 1min after posting?

This would be useful to fix errors..rather than having to delete it and post again.

Hefty Hideaway

As someone with fat thumbs and the ability to only notice typos after I press post - this is a great idea but with the caveat of a little ‘edited’ link which shows the original post to stop abuse.

I don't understand how it could be abused.

It would be handy to be able a edit a post for a minute of two, the same as you can delete it..

The delete is 10 minutes - you could post something controversial, people wade in to disagree and then you edit your post to something completely different.

All those who waded in look like idiots as a result.
