How about a system of warning that only women can see?

Pushy bad behaviour etc

Bareback without consent being one of the main ones.

We're all adults here but a lot cannot be trusted and some women wouldn't make official reports to the police for various reasons.

A world all of his own

Hmmm for the same reason that other ideas don't work, it'd be open to abuse.

E.g. a woman gets knocked back by a bloke and tags him as whatever.

In principle it's a good idea & I believe everyone here should be able to feel confident in meeting but it could end up being abused & I'm assuming that's what the verification system is for.

Any rating system or shaming system will just get abused, by bitter folk that have any kind of knock backs on here

People tend to write glowing verifications. I've compared someone awful to previous good veris from other women. The very bad ones I leave nothing for. It would be more useful if you had no choice in showing them or not. That way good, and truthfull would all be on view.

Who would be the judge of how truthful a verification is and how could that be confirmed?

It's still open to abuse though. Take for example, you and I. I've never spoken to you let alone met you. We exchange a couple of messages, and I turn you down. You could instantly leave a very snotty verification which, in your words, would automatically display on my profile calling me allsorts.

Why would only women be concerned about things like that?

I got a message from Fab saying I’d been reported as an escort. I was disgusted.

A big warning that I will be removed and my services weren’t wanted. I haven’t a clue who or where this came from. I’d love to know what their grounds for this accusation were because they definitely don’t have no right to accuse me when I’m not even meeting. I have one guy from here I’ve been having sex with for the last year.

All I can’t think of was I was talking to one new guy, This guy started sending me very stranges messages after a while so i knocked him back. Maybe he pressed report and they straight away pointed the finger with no evidence. I’ve had sex 5 times this year with one guy. Furious is an understatement.

Feel? Oh it’s a very big mistake. I did contact them I got no reply so and I posted in the feedback forum and they blocked replies and I still got no answer. I think who ever reported me should have a warning. You can’t just do that because you’ve been knocked back. I really am disgusted.

I do think there needs to be a warning system of sorts, no shows, untrustworthy etc and fully understand the fact it could be open to be abused BUT its not to hard to have a system where say for them who persistently no show u had to submit the messages as proof to admin before some kind of strike system or warning was published?

That's terrible. I always thought that to give you a warning they would need evidence. Apparrently not. So if women are knocking back men and they put in malicious reports they are instantly believed without evidence. No wonder the gender imbalance is getting worse. Surely they would need some proof of guilt.

I do think a place where we can name *no shows* would be beneficial...for both men and women....Iv had 2 of those myself in the last week...plus 4 cancellations...cancellations can’t always be helped but there’s no excuse for just not turning up without explanation...

Central

If admin have serious enough misgivings about a profile, it's probably not safe that the user continues to message and interact - obviously admin have various solutions at their disposal, including banning.

It's probably worth us all being willing to engage with the police etc, where others engage in what is potentially very dangerous/illegal behaviour. Consider always having your meets captured on CCTV as a minimum, so that their identity is more traceable.

Whilst I can see some value from having a warning style system on profiles, some people would continue to create new profiles, so that they'd appear as lower risk. And someone with hundreds of meets behind them, may become a murderer tomorrow, though their profile would potentially engender a sense of security.

They do. They would only issue a warning if there is evidence.

Of course as advised if anyone thinks it is a mistake they could contact Admin who will check and put right if needed.

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.

******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).

Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

Admin

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.

Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:

--

Your feedback has been saved.

A website admin will shortly review your feedback and take the necessary action. After reviewing the evidence available to us, we may disable an account, remove a user, disable certain aspects of that user's account or issue a warning.

By leaving feedback you help improve the site for everyone who uses it. Thank you.******

Admin have said they will never have name and shame which is more or less what is being asked for.

If you report a profile that you think isn't suited for the site Admin will look into it and deal with if needed. If you think they have send a warning that they shouldn't have, ask Admin to review for you from the CONTACT button and they will put it right for you if it was wrong
