Compulsory Photo Verification

Surly one way to combat a lot of the fake profiles is to have everyone photo verify???

This comes up a lot, Admin have said they won't make it compulsory for all to join the site.

If you use the mail filters to block unverified people the site will work for you how you want it to

Appreciate what your saying but surly it would deter a vast number of people making a profile for the wrong reasons. Take away even half of the fake profiles and then surly it would make for an easier time for the Admin

The compromise would be to have a button to block all the un-photo verified ones but then people could still fake the photo verification as its not compulsory to show your face.

The reality is if someone is determined enough the will fake anything.

Let’s not forget that all the silver site supporters who are not verified / fake profiles perhaps that are contributing to the site with their £5 bi monthly subscription

It’s a tough one I see it from both sides. Some people want to remain anonymous and it’s about getting a decent number of people on to chat and meet.

But there’s also far far too many fakes. Its getting worse & the site is full of them.

There must be a way to stop it...

Any other ideas?
