FabSwingers.com forum: Linking profiles and forum posts

That little green arrow next to a poster on the forums that links to all the threads that someone has posted on. Is it possible to put it on a users profile? Forum posts reveal a lot more about a persons true persona than a profile does, it would be interesting/useful when browsingprofiles.

I'm not sure how well I've explained that!

I'm fairly sure there was a similar feature a while back where if the person had made forum posts, it appeared on their profile. Not sure why it disappeared. Ms

So few people use the forums (yesterday, 0.69% of users posted to the forum) that we weren't sure how useful this is.

Is also adds an extra query for each profile page load and the less we do on each profile, the better.

This is why it hasn't happened yet.

how many people view profiles though, surely this is a way to drive traffic to the forums, even it was just the last three postings "Things I have talked about recently" The OP is right as it adds an extra dimension to the profile.

As a wee cheat, click the 'view recent threads you've posted too' icon and in the address bar at the top, change your profile name to that who's posts you want to look at.

lol, I meant from just a user name, if you are looking at a profile and want to see their posts.....not from an existing forum post.

I'm not as green as I am cabbage looking ya know
