Unable to verify ?

Morning all, just a quick question I met someone from this site, at a Club yesterday. They already have loads of verifications on their profile. However they are unable to verify me and when I try to verify them it fails and a message says

" This page is for verified users only" very confused and lost

You have to be verified before you can verify someone else. If they're verified, get them to verify you, and then you can verify them.

They won't be able to verify you if you have their profile type blocked or if you shared the same internet connection.

did you mean they don't want to verify you? At a loss to understand how the verified people can't verify you?

Hiya guys thanks for the response, yeah this person is already a verified member. They have many verifications on their profile. They tried to verify me after the meet but it wouldn't allow them too.
