"They would get around it by asking to message off site, although it would mean that you wouldn't receive those kinds of messages on here." Agreed, It isn’t fool proof I know. But it would certainly help I’ve had a mf couple create several profiles within the space of a few days and they are seeking money for meets via private messaging. Their Profile gets deleted, a few days later they are back and doing the same thing. Equally, it’s frustrating when I take off my message filters and get messages offering money for items of used clothing or for me to undertake certain acts. It would really make my fab experience a lot better if I didn’t have to receive these messages. There are ways of identifying key words on here eg when the * appears in place of the R when you type d*unk. If the fab developers would reuse that code for something useful and productive then I’d be very grateful

"Fab is greatly helped when the thousands of users who encounter anyone behaving inappropriately report it to site admin. That doesn't use site development funds. It's for the site to know their own tools that help them to identify patterns that are suspicious or clearly wrong - and not to reveal what they are, as this would help people to avoid detection, working around them. Always report what seems to be wrong and let site admin evaluate it." I do report these incidents and I understand that there are good reasons why the users who reports these incidents don’t get any feedback after the matter closes. However, It is frustrating when you report an incident and block a user, to see that the profile disappears and reappears again (usually with the same or a very similar username) using the same photos and probably using the same devise/IP address and repeating the same behaviour patterns I don’t think you’ve understood my point so I apologise for not being clear and articulating this well. My post is partly venting frustration due to the frequency of these incidents with numerous profiles but also to provide feedback in order for fab to improve the user experience of its genuine fab users. I’m not asking for the site to reveal its detection tools, I’m asking for them to improve the detection tools and suggestions some ideas for the site to work on them because there is a massive hole in the site which enables users to solicit and also be offered money in exchange for sexual acts and personal items. I’ve identified an area of functionality/a site feature which could be enhanced to encompass this aspect and the post is to provide this feedback in the spirit of the forum I’ve posted in I also appreciate this isn’t fool proof, but it would reduce/eliminate the instances of this happening on this site (admittedly this could happen elsewhere e.g.on kik) but there’d be a clear benefit for the fab site in terms of the reduced administrative burden of handling these reports as well as the improved user experience

They work VERY hard behind the scenes with many things that they don't divulge for obvious reasons. How users can help is to report too so they can deal with anything they are not aware of
