I obviously get why this rule is in place for the main part BUT en-route to Barnsley social last week I took a great selfie of myself and another fabber... but we can’t display it as we’d have to obscure one- another’s face.

Suggestion of a facility to tag others in a photo... in essence it would act as a sort of verification too, always a bonus

But how would fab know you have their permission? It could lead to a lot of complaints from people being tagged that don't want to be?

People could approve or refuse the tag. Like on Bookface.

*with the difference that if the tag is declined then the pic doesn't get accepted.

There would be more work for admin, so it would not be workable. This isn't Facebook, Facebook can have those features because they charge advertisements to bombard its users with adds. The picture rule is a good one, we don't need tagging x

I think they make enough from site supporters especially given that all the mods are volunteers . Someone is raking it in ...

Not necessarily true. The approval system would be exactly the same as any other pic but the person tagged would just have to confirm for it to become live. That could be automatically sent when the person is tagged. No extra effort would be needed by the moderator.
