Hiding from profile views

Shouldn't there be a filter to stop people in "ninja mode" from viewing your profile? It really bugs us when the same guy looks at our profile 25 times a day and we block them but obviously it is quite easy to be stalked if you don't know someone is looking at you. The stealth mode feature is a flawed idea without this filter in our opinion. If you don't want to be seen we don't want you to see us!

I can see your point of view but as a single woman on here, if a guy sees I've looked at his profile I'm open to infinite amount of messages. Just because I've looked doesn't mean I'm interested.

Without stealth mode I'd be too afraid to look at profiles.

I see both sides, I block when folk look at me 10 times in one hour, but when I look without ninja mode you just get inundated with messages saying you looked at me, did you like what you seen? Well no I did not or else I would have messaged you to compliment you

If you’ve blocked them they can’t look at your profile at all. Stealth mode or no stealth mode.

If you don’t want certain pictures seen, have them private or friends only. I have plenty of guys who look at my profile constantly. If I’m interested I’ll message them, if they don’t reply They get blocked. If I can’t see them. It doesn’t bother me.

Maybe no one even looks at your profile in stealth mode

I'm on another site that doesn't allow stealth mode, so I don't like to look at profiles at all. That's why I prefer being here.

There are people who look at our profile constantly but don't message us (you know who you are ) but it doesn't bother us the slightest. We just assume they like our pics or are checking our profile for updates.

The ones who we don't want to have anything to do with are blocked. Simple

Flawed logic there.

When they unhide their profile, you won't know. They could be the perfect person for you and you could miss out on the best relationship (or just nsa sex if that's what you are looking for) of your life.

You're assuming that all 'hidden' profiles are looking at others. When I'm in the chat room, my profile is open, so that people can see who I am, and that's the only time that I look at profiles. When I'm not in the chat-room, I hide my profile as a courtesy to others, so that I don't come up on searches. They can't mail me, so why 'tempt' people with something they can't have

If people are in ninja mode how do you know they've looked at your profile multiple times? I think the views are included in your view count but it could be them x 25, or 25 different profiles in ninja mode. You can’t tell.

This differs from hiding your profile btw. There seems to be some crossed wires.

I understand your view point. I usually block those not interested, those who don't reply to a careful message (that said I rarely send them now because 90% were just ignored or deleted), those who just look and move on, those who are abusive and those who are abusive on forums.

"Most" women want users to look and fab their gallery pictures? Where do you get the "most" from? I certainly don't. And I will continue to view profiles in stealth mode, for as long as it exists, to prevent the 'I see you looked at me' messages. If stealth mode is ever taken away, I will NOT look at profiles. And without people viewing profiles, the chances of a meet would be even slimmer (especially for solo males).

I'm sure there are other women who take the same view of stealth mode as I do. If people think that fabs are important (I don't), then removing stealth mode would reduce their enjoyment of their fabs more ... they would know how many had looked and NOT fabbed. Why would we want to take away their enjoyment in this way?

To me, the looked@me list is the pointless thing, as it only encourages people to believe they might be more popular than they think they are (leading to 'I see you looked at me...' mails). I never look at my looked@me list, and even if I did, I would never dream of mailing anyone, just on the strength of it.

To sum up and over-generalise ... Stealth mode is useful for couples and solo women. Looked At Me list is just a tool which unsuccessful swingers use wrongly, to try to improve their success rate.

Or am I missing something?

Ninja mode stops you showing on the ‘who looked at me’ list. It isn’t hiding your profile.

The things I find strange is when someone sends you a wink and then either blocks you or hides their profile. Or maybe send you (a) message(s) of maybe one or two word(s) sometimes in txt talk and expect a sensible reply. Or even lady's send you nice, endearing messages for some time then when you get to make a date to meet, just disappear or stop communicating.... Where does that come from???
