Late winks

I don't know if this a known problem, but, on my page it shows '1 new wink', I look at the profile and it says on there 'they winked you 4 days ago' - I have been logged on many times in that intervening period and had winks in between that show for example 'they winked you 18mins ago' - it's not the first time I've noticed this - is there an explanation?

I think it displays the last time the profile who winked at you was online, not when the wink actually happened.
