Delete photos?

Our subscription has very recently ran out.

Went to delete a photo from a sent message but we can’t unless we are site supporters?

There’s no warning to say we can’t when sending the photo?

Should privacy be a paid for service?

Dont send pics if you want your privacy.. deleting them doesnt stop them taking a screen shot right away

Yeah we get that but still should have the option to remove from the messege should we want too.

I believe that if you delete the pic from your gallery they disappear from the message as well..... unless they have already taken a screen shot that is.

As a site supporter, you get the option to tick a box in the message you sent with a picture attached, which allows the picture to be removed once the message has been read!

"As a site supporter, you get the option to tick a box in the message you sent with a picture attached, which allows the picture to be removed once the message has been read!"

Their OP says they let their SS lapse.

Yes I understand that. It was more a case of letting them know that if they became a SS again and that the option was there as a SS right from the start.

Was a ss for so long, never gave it a thought that we couldn’t. But there are no warnings to say you can’t delete as a non ss.

We always got into the habit of deleting photos after a while, for privacy plus keeping storage on the servers down.

In the upgrade part it tells you that being able to delete sent pics is a feature of site supporters, so being a non site supporter it should be clear that this feature is only for site supporters

We don’t have that showing on our list on the upgrade section.

When we go to send a photo it just states that site supporters can choose to have the photo auto deleted once messege has been read

My mistake i mustve read it somewhere else.. but it does say site supporters have this function when u go to send a pic.. therefore you should know that non site supporters dont have this function

When we go to send a pic it states site supporters can have the pic automatically deleted once messege has been read.

It does not state that site supporters can delete photos.

Not complaining about that. Just would be nice to know what can or can’t be done with or without ss

Not quite no. You can delete pic if you choose too or automatically delete once messege is read is exactly that. Once the person has read the mail the photo gets deleted automatically

Well read what it says a site supporter can do for paying the sub, it's really quite simple isn't it? If it's listed as a perk of SS then obviously you can't do it if you don't pay or SS lapses. X

https://www.fabswingers.com/supporters

If you are a site supporter you will also see this when you send a pic in a message

" Auto-remove photos from message after it's read (improved privacy)"

It’s not listed as a perk of being ss.

"It is when you send a pic in a message so I am not sure what the problem is?"

Only the auto delete option pops up when you send a pic in a messege.

The delete pic option is not mentioned.

Maybe don't send photos in future if it is such an issue?

I don't understand why delete profile etc?

The option to delete photos is retrospective if that helps at all. I mean if you pay for a membership you can delete pics from messages that were sent before you had the membership.
