Disputing a forum ban

Do admin ever back to users about these?

I received one 2 days ago (for obvious reasons I'm not going to say what it was about) and me and quite a few other people think it was unfair and I hadn't actually done what I was accused of.

I completed the contact form but didn't hear anything back.

Yes, they read every contact and review. If your ban shouldn't have happened they will mail you and lift it. If you don't hear anything from them you should assume they think the ban is the right one
