Hi all,

I have set the following message filter settings:

- Can't be a couple (MM)

- Can't be A single male (M)

- Can't be TV/TS

The message filters work but my question is around the 'Looked @ Me' List.

Single Males do not appear on my 'Looked @ Me' List (which is fine) but MM Couples and TV/TS still do.

Is there any reason for this? Or am I looking in the wrong place?

they must be looking in stealth mode as anyone can view your profile, you can only prevent folk sending messages, not looking

A very, very long time ago, it was only possible to block single males. This was carried over to looked@me. Over time, sex blocks for all sex types were added. These were not moved over to looked@me. So in answer to your question, there is a reason but not a good one

Why worry about your look at me list? If they look and don't message, or can't message then it doesn't affect you.

Take it as a compliment that there is something in your profile worth looking at

only way you can stop people looking is, hide profile, block people

or dont look

Probably it may have killed the site if guys had been able to block like the ladies could from viewing the eye candy.

Think of it as no different for charging more for single guys at clubs and a token for single ladies so as to get more ladies to go. If it was the same charge, fewer ladies would go and eventually less guys would go and so less revenue and unhappy couples.

I had an incling that the two features were linked - glad it wasn't anything more

P.S. I don't mind men/male couples/TVs viewing my profile at all. All are welcome as much as they like

My query was just regarding the filter/looked @ me mis-match.

It'd be nice if it was altered, only simply because the non-message filtered ones are the only I profiles I am interested in... but it's not exactly a high priority or matters all that much

Your joystick remains visible to all, irrespective of partner types and message filters. The key viewing restrictions you can make are upon non-members viewing you, ie accessible to the full public or not.

Cheers. I am already aware

I am not, nor was ever asking about restrictions on people viewing my profile. It is ONLY based on the member types that appear on 'Looked @ Me' & how they relate to message filters which the Admin has kindly explained above.

I know anyone can -view- me with my current settings but I'm not looking to change that, regardless.

This could be a m, mm or TV checking verifications of a female/couple profile x
