Notification If Someone Adds You To Their Hotlist

There was a post just about hotlists and blocks the other day on the Scottish forum and I thought of an interesting idea which is easy to implement on the website.

Why not if someone adds you to their hotlist, it would be nice to receive a message or a section on your profile that tells you how many people have you on their hotlist. I'm not saying, we be informed who, just that we are notified each time and how many in total.

If for the experienced fabswingers, remember people who hid their profile and looked at your site you couldn't tell who they were but you know someone looked that day.

I just think its an interesting extra that is easily implemented

I prefer it to be anonymous. I use mine sometimes as a hit list of no no’s than a yes yes. I’d hate to think they thought I was interested in meeting them.

Not everyone uses the hotlist for wat your thinking some use it as a not list therefore it would skew the number

We generally use it for iffy profiles and wouldn't want them to know.

No I agree with this and understand. Sure there are ways roundabout it right enough but maybe not feasible in regards to the design of the site.

I use my private notes on profiles in regards to my thinking of them. I use then hotlist as only people who interest me.

I wouldn't want to block them. Usually they entertain me with their leaving status. I play a game of how long they'll still be on the site for after throwing a tantrim in their status.

If it were anything like the fabbed pics then I'd be a little annoyed every time I get notified that a man has hotlisted me.

I'll tell you what though. It would be nice if you get notified when someone you hotlisted hotlists you too

Perhaps there is a case for a "not list" (addition to which would automatically block) as well as a hotlist, where you would automatically receive a message "so-and-so has added you to their hotlist." If you didn't like them you could then transfer to your "not list" saving wasted time all round

Am i missing something here because im seeing lots of "I use it to avoid people" so why not just block them ?

I do actually use mine as a hot/perve list but I'd rather people not know .. Besides we have winks for that nudge nudge kinda thing.
