"To comply with services they use, ie text and credit card services they have to * parts of words so people can still use them or they wouldn't be allowed at all. " It seems unlikely that these services would insist on restricting certain words and not others. Plus if this is the case, then the service fails dismally because the automatic filtering doesn't effect the main thread title. It would make more sense, if they need to restrict specific topics, that the words trigger a "report to admin" so it can be checked rather than a blanket ban on all instances of a group of letters.
