Missing winks?

Just a curiosity...

First encountered this a few months back then again today.

Member winks me, look again later and wink is gone.

Not been blocked, goto their profile and says at top user winked me x hours ago.

Can you delete winks you’ve sent or is this just a random(ish) glitch

Some times I don’t get a wink notification but I go in there and there’s winks. I know it’s not coming back after deleting. As there different people?.

Near Leeds

We've had it where we get the notification email, but it's not in the wink list. We then search the username and it shows on the user profile that they've winked at us. Strange and lucky the emails seem to be consistent.

Same happened to us yesterday, thought it was just a glitch.

We even put on our status update about it... No one contacted us to say it was them though

Ahhhhh must be a glitch then. Only the second time I’ve noticed it has happened, was there then disappeared later

On the home screen that sometimes happens (not showing “x new winks”) but you go in and find a new one there.

This was different, wink was here and showed notified. Went back to it later and it had gone, luckily I managed to track down the person through search and being a Site Sup I could see they winked me x hours before.

Just strange it removed from winks received list when others are still there.

you only get a wink notification if you set yr profile to get them otherwise they just appear and disappear when you delete

We’ve noticed the same, they don’t appear in the winks box but do appear on the profile of the ones who have winked....v strange

Wherever the party is @

I've had this problem. Shows 3 new winks. Go to check and only one is there. Where the hell are the other 2? lol. They didn't leave,block me or anything that would suggest that's the reason for the missing winks. Confused.com
