Thanks for all the feedback so far on the new mailbox

We'll be doing an update in the next couple of weeks

Will include stuff like:

* Making sure if you've switch to new grouped mailbox it doesn't randomly switch back if you login/out

* Delete thread in one click

* Other things

Please keep the feedback coming

Could you look into fixing the fact that when you open a thread of messages, the particular message you've opened, doesn't show up in the thread below? Does that make sense?

Today I'm having a few issues. Shows i have 3 unopened messeges but when i go to my mail box theres only 2. But when i look at the actual messege it shows the missing messege in the conversation.

It really needs to show the actual messege iv opened too.

Sometimes messeges won't delete.

All good mainly though and i like it.

In the grouped inbox the Sent messages are included in the message thread, so they are effectively grouped too.

I love the new message system, but deleting is a problem for me. I see that others have mentioned the same issue

Unless I'm doing something wrong of course, but if we could delete the whole thread rather than each message seperately it would be easier and somewhat more efficient

It shows number of messages in grey...if you delete in this mode it clears all messages....except the very last one which you then need to go, find and delete separately for some reason.

It's excellent... It stops repeat messages and helps keep track and maintain interest to be able to actually converse using real sentences instead of one word/line ping pong messages lol... Best update yet cheers

Loving the new mailbox, so much easier to keep track of messages if you've friends who go off thread usually. Keeps them in same place

Look forward to the fix for deleting a thread in 1 click as just spent 10 mins deleting a lengthy chat with someone who is UNLOS this morning

I haven't had the deletion problem because I rarely delete messages. But I am currently showing 1 unread mail, with no sign of it anywhere in my mailbox.

Massive improvement over what we had before. I'd lost contact with someone I was supposed to be meeting this week because they'd slipped off the end of my old style inbox, but the new style brought the thread back and I was able to message them (not that they've replied.)

One ask: if you are reading a message that you already replied to, you see the message, followed by your reply after it, followed by your reply before it. It's a little bit confusing. Could we possibly duplicate the current message in the history, or at least place a 'this message' marker in the appropriate place?

It is a massive improvement. One thing is that if u want to delete a msg entirely u have to press the delete button for each one which is s bother if u have a long thread

Seems to have stopped swapping out when I log off...

Is there a thread for uploading pics issues...

I'm on mobile and Firefox but every time I try to upload from phone gallery it defaulting to the desktop site page and upload fails...

Love the new linked messages. I just wanted to switch back for now until the update of deleting messages in one click is installed. It won't let me revert back to the old mailbox style.

Just noticed... that it's nice they're grouped together. ..but though you group delete...they actually don't delete. Refresh and they return... still have to individually delete the messages.

I like it, but I would like to be able to select one or more messages within the thread to delete. Delete older messages but keep newer ones for example.

go back into old system and individually delete is still only way I see. Mine doesn't group delete...well it does momentarily but when you refresh it all reappears again.

Yes I've found that also you think you have deleted but it's not group deleted it's only deleted one message from that group of messages

Question, more from curiosity going forward.

In the old mailbox, there was a finite number of messages- old ones fell off the bottom. I never counted but guessing 40? What happens in the new mailbox? Does it just group the same number? Or does it now count threads? Will old msgs stay in the threads even if they'd have previously been dropped?

Hi, loving the new setup..

One thing I've noticed - if a user sends a message and then leaves fab before you read it then it shows as an unread message on the counter but no sign of the message for you to delete it. I had to revert back to the old style to delete it then back to the new style because I prefer it.

Hope this helps anyone stuck with an unread mail that they can't find

Can you upload a couple of screenshots of this to your account as private pics so we can see this? Before delete/after delete. Once a thread is deleted those should now show again (in the new mailbox)

Ive been enjoying the new mailbox, but noticed that a few days ago all my messages had gone except 1 thread, im pretty sure i havent deleted them all, and if i had i wouldnt have 1 thread left, which was from 2 weeks ago, is there an automatic delete of old messages?
