There seems to be an increasing number of threads which are 'wank fodder' . Can one of the forums be restricted to meet verified only, to try to have a forum members who meet?

I know, it's not bombproof, it would be nice to have an area where just people who have actually had meets can post.

Don't see the point, almost all of the horseplay on here is from verified members. Meanwhile it would be putting up another barrier to those actually trying to get meets , but failing due to no veris.

So posts in that forum are from people who have actually met and have some level of experience and knowledge. So many posts from keyboard dreamers and 'advice' from those who don't actally know anything.

I'm not proposing a total ban on all unverifed from all forums.

But then you get into

How long since last meet to qualify ??!!

If I meet A get a verification great but if I continue to meet A ( as I'm not into numbers but regular fwb) that verification won't get updated so could appear I'm not meeting ....

I'm not saying they all are. There are lots of greats threads in the forums. There are also plenty started by people who have never met, or trolled by non-meeters. There definitely needs to be areas for non-verified to chat and learn, that is part of the great thing of the forum.

In addition, I don't think it's outrageous to have an area for those who have met. I know it's not a magic wand, but with all the other sub-forums, I think it would be worth doing.

I don't.

But, on lots of days the forum is inundated with posts like that. It's like scrolling through Freeview until the one quality program pops up.

Equally people who don't want to go in the meet verified forum wouldn't have to.

I don't see why on a swingers site, a forum for people who have actually done it seems so crazy!

Have to agree the amount of wank fodder threads is on the increased, but I guess people will use the site as they see fit.

True!

I think as mrswoody said, it just seems to be on the increase. Only a small proprtion of the site come in the forum already. I just think it's important to try to keep it as good as possible to encourage more people in and stop good poster dropping out.

The introductions, meets, help, lounge all need to be accessible for everyone, newbies included. I'm meaning a sub section, like swingers chat or a seperate one?

BTW, I've had more than 80 meets for sex, but I'm unverified... because they weren't from Fab. You can't just assume that a person without veris "isn't meeting".

The idea isn't about keeping anything secret. It's about discussions between people who meet. Your personal example is highly unusual but you could get verified if you wanted to join that sub-forum.

I think it's just elitist and wouldn't guarantee the content of your proposed sub forum being intelligent.

There's plenty of fantasists in here both verified (on show and hidden), non verified (and some not wanting to show anyone any verifications they have actually racked up either in here or outside of here)

It might give you the impression that all who qualify to be in the sub forum can be taken more seriously but really, unless you meet every single person in the group and are able to judge them as worthy of being in it... Then imo it would just provide an unverified false sense of security...

Also people judging others subjectively doesn't actually quantify into your assessment being the only true valid opinion on any one individual/couple... Not everyone gets on with each other right off the batt.

Nonsense, the forum should be open to everyone, would be great if a new profile was encouraged to contribute to the forum by being messaged by admin, fresh outlooks and fresh opinion should always be encouraged and just because someone is unverified makes there opinion no less valid and maybe more inciteful

On the other hand can we have the forums just for us with 200 plus verifications? Indeed we need somekind of validation and recognition for our greatness, kidding of course, but you get the point, forums should be open to everyone, everyone and will be all the better for it x
