status comments

hi ya all...

just been sat thinking about an idea that sprung to mind after reading a friends status... think it would be a good idea to comment on friends status messages but for everyone to view like they do on facebook? just a thought what do u think?

What would happen to the comments when the status changed/expired? Would they remain without context, or be removed?
