Galaxy s6 text box over write issue

hiding from cock pics.

When sending a message or adding to a forum the text box often overwrites the "post" message tab and I have to delete a few lines so I can get the tab back in order to post. It has been going on for a long time and happens almost every time.

It's very frustrating.

It's really hard to extend the box too to cover it...same with verification box if it's a long one...grrrr

Site owners should look into this. It may just need a very simple code tweak applicable to users of your phone.

had this with my S6, just upgraded to S8 & same issue.

In messages I realised if I click on one of the smileys the box reappears, but this didn't work when writing a Veri & I had to use my tablet.

Not written a Veri yet off new phone, so not sure if the smiley thing will work on it same as in messages x

It doesn't as you can't put smilies in a veri x

I actually thought I was the only person who had this issue so I'm really glad that other people have posted also.

It would be really helpful if this could be looked into as I am not having to shorten and mess about with my messages etc.

I'm currently not a supporter so at the moment I can't upload any more photos.

I can private message photos to somebody if there is a mod I could do that too. It's a very frustrating issue and definitely affects the site.

Had this for a while, have found rotating the screen 90° and back again causes the box to pop back in.

I get this on my tablet, I just continue to type over the post message tab and press it when I want to send. It is annoying though

That is a great tip, I will give it a try. Someone earlier suggested rotating the screen so I have been doing that, and that is a fix for me.

This is still an issue but ive figured out a workaround.

If like me you are falling to bits with old age and your eyesight is failing you, you probably have your phone font setting as large...ive found decreasing it via your phone settings helps, though it's a ballache as then I can't read tiny text but at least it fits in the box!

Any suggestions admin?

It is the same on a Lenovo P2, but as somebody posted above, a great work around is just click on the attach picture tab and then you can write as much as you want and there's no need to attach a picture.

I get this problem with my kindle tablet, i have found a can get round it by clicking the add photo link, the text box rights itself and I can finish and send messages xxx

It's not just the message box though...it does it in the verification box too and you can't attach a pic there
