Hi admin is there any chance you could do something about the amount of time wasters you got on this site you say block them and report them to the site we do that all the time but you seem to do nothing about them and they stay on the site to carry on waisting people time by not turning up

Welcome to fab lol! Unfortunately this is an ongoing problem, I often have meets cancelled at the last minute which gives me no time to organise anything else, I agree, they should be removed from the site!

....And it's not only happening to women/couples

Three times in last 2 days I've had couples mail me looking for a guy. They ask a bunch of questions about how fast can you get here, what would you do with her ? Etc

One soon gets to recognise the format but at least one was a verified and sexy couple. When I asked why they suddenly went off line after arranging all bar the address, one reply was

"Oh, we ended up just fucking like pornstars"

Ok, buts that's not swinging eh?

Basically an extension of their porn options by wasting often precious time of a single guy

It's always the same problem. You chat with a couple for a day or so and send them pics, the say that they are happy with you. As soon as a meet is mentioned or arranged the go all quite on you and the excuses come out and sometimes block you.

This is a tough subject tbh. Ive chatted with established fabbers with multiple veris...and even they are capable of wasting time. How do you police that?

Problem is, everyone's definition as to what a time waster is varies. Fab gives you all the tools you need to them out then after that, you have to use your instincts but you'll never get rid of them all.

Had this with single females too. To be honest I only use this site to keep in touch with people who are on my friends list and people who I have met before and I know that they are genuine, real and actually turn up for arranged meetings.

This is the reason I get the men I am meeting to book the hotel on the understand we will split the cost when we meet, The exception is my regular guys who never let me down

We have had guy's book a room in the past when we you to meet outside clubs but this one time the guy gave the hotel he had booked a room we turned up no guy and guess what no room booked

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.

******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).

Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.

Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:

Your feedback has been saved.

A website admin will shortly review your feedback and take the necessary action. After reviewing the evidence available to us, we may disable an account, remove a user, disable certain aspects of that user's account or issue a warning.

By leaving feedback you help improve the site for everyone who uses it. Thank you.******

I suppose it depends on a persons definition of a timewaster.... I don't think someone blocking you because they don't want to speak to you anymore is a timewaster, neither do I think someone cancelling a meet is a timewaster.

I would say someone who arranges a meet and doesn't bother letting you know they are not coming is a timewaster

Agree!

E.g., As a guy you may be travelling on business, (so already have an hotel). You have ONE evening free in the area and commit half of it to the build-up and arrangement messaging, you bear with all the confirmatory msgs (are you still interested, do you fancy her, when can you come), then it's getting late to arrange something else or you've missed other options (maybe a club etc).

This week I left half my meal in the restaurant to get showered in time for an "urgent" meet. Next thing you know communications stop, either an unread mail or just gone offline, sometimes blocked.

Essentially it's basic etiquette , we are dealing here with the general public and some think they can use and abuse the time of others.

Spoils it for those whom occasionally do have to cancel a meet etc!

We have had similar experiences only this week make arrangements book rooms arrange travel they take your number seem keen then go off site or block you for no reason. So frustrating. We're on the verge of calling it a day... I'm sure they knock one out on the fantasy then simply disappear.

Having to cancel at late notice is one thing and we've had to do it, but some people here clearly seem to get off on screwing people around for no good reason and don't even bother to let them know. Maybe it gives them a sense of power or maybe they're just inconsiderate idiots but whatever the reasons it's totally unacceptable. It's very sad but there are so many sad people around that we won't meet anyone unless we've chatted several times first and then seen eachother on cam. Even then it'll only be a social meeting first time out and we won't be booking hotel rooms on the off chance that some so called superstud will turn up either. We've learned not to raise our hopes and will always have a plan b just in case we get let down.

We tend to go to the organised socials, book a room to stay in the area, and then see what develops.

We have to book anyway, as the are mostly an hour plus drive from us, so we have fun at the social, make new friends, touch base with old ones, and then see if anyone is up for some fun back in our room.
