I have noticed something with regard to message filters.

It appears that if you prevent single males from messaging you, fab automatically blocks them (presumably from even viewing your profile - since single males don't show up in 'whos viewed me' - but did when I temporarily removed my filters to participate in a particular forum thread), however, filters for other profile types only seem to prevent them from messaging / winking or sending friend requests.

Would it not be fairer (and I'm thinking along equality lines here) for the same rules to be applied to whichever profile types are filtered.

For example, (as I've said) if I filter out single males, they seem to be completely blocked, however, MM couples or TV/TS/CD's still show up in 'who's viewed me' despite having filters in place

They can still view the profile, the clue is in the title - message filter - just means they can not get in contact.

When message filters are applied, single males don't show up in 'Who's viewed me', but other profile types I have filtered still do.

I really don't see why fab discriminates in this way.

Surely my reason for filtering / blocking other profile types is the same as for single males

Yes, I understand that.

I think everyone is missing the point I am trying to make, so allow me to simplify.

Why are single male profile treated differently to other profile types?
