Would it not be an idea to add this to clear out the fakes.

Could give a time limit on it so say you have 3 days from joining to photo verify before expulsion.

It's used on other sites I've used and makes sites much more user friendly.

I have quite opposite idea. To get rid of it as it is completely pointless.

As if a person who want to be fake/or timewaster couldn't do picture with piece of paper.

So easy to fake and i for one have never been photo verified in all the 10 years i have been here and never will, use the filters provided and filter out the non verifieds

We're verified but agree it's pointless. We were contacted by a couple profile that was photo verified and had been on the site for over a year. All of their photos were downloads from a range of porn sites.

It took us a year to be brave enough to send in the full body pic for verification. If we'd had to do so so soon on joining then we'd have left the site.

One possible alternative could be to host a lot of local newbie socials that you have to attend and be verified at before you can fully use the site. Obviously that has its own issues with cost, logistics and time constraints.

Admin have said they have no plans to make it compulsory.

You can block anyone without a veri/PV from mailing you though so the site works for you how you want it to.

It doesnt stop fakes.
