Can an advanced search filter for height be put in?

I scroll through see nice pics then see the guy is short. He then realised I've looked at his page and I end up with 30-40 mins of message bombardment cos I don't like guys under 6ft

I would really love like to see that feature too. In fact, to save everyone time, it would be nicer if guys below a certain user-defined height were blocked from sending a message. Just like one can block MM couples, TV/TS, etc

Cynical I know but having been on a few large socials & knowing i'm defo 5'8" I sometimes spend quite a bit of time thinking 6'0" my arse. Recently had someone stating they were 5'7" standing next to me that must have been a good 5" shorter than me & no I don't wear Cuban's

I'm honest and state on my profile 6ft or above. Doesn't mean someone shorter than 6ft is unattractive. I just don't want to meet them or receive a load of abuse because I won't meet them

I know folk lie about height which is a bit bizarre cos if uou meet how does that work?? I met a guy who was 5"9 if he was lucky. His profile said 6"1. So I wore heels. It looked ridiculous so bid him adieu

I think most people would disagree with that.

You can make an image distort what you like and emphasize what you lol.

I think if height goes in so does weight as people have issues with both. But I've a feeling only one of them causes sensitivity

Yes, another excellent idea. All those attributes which are currently listed on the drop-downs on profiles, can easily be made filterable. So, I would like to filter out people by body-type so that they don't waste my time and their time being able to message me

I have guys get unbelievably aggressive because I've said no due to height. I do not find short men attractive . I don't care if 5"7 or 5"10 they're short. I'm 5"8..5"9 in trainers, 6ft in regular heels 6"2 going out heels I want someone taller than me. Simple. I don't see why I should be harassed due to my preferences

Totally agree, I avoid big birds for this reason. They're just not remotely effeminate imo irrespective of clothing or makeup lol.

I've been with a couple of strong backs and it just turns me off.

But no one should be castigated for their view or desires...

Thing is it's hardly an unreasonable request would stop unwanted messages and stop peoples wasted time looking at profiles that you know wont interest someone. Also stop people getting their hopes up just because someone looked at them.

There should be lots of options, not just height so people know who is a potential meet and it would let the guys know if they are wasting there time sending a message to someone who isn't interested in them.

I'm not on any dating sites but I would guess there are lots of things you can filter for nd see potential meets.

Yeah the dating sites do allow you to be more specific in terms of refining your search. I know here isn't dating but everyone has their own preferences. Some love bbw so that should be an option as should a few others . Think it might make searching a bit easier is all.

I think you can go on and on requesting filters for this and that, thought it would be handy if there was a filter to see if any women were specifically looking for short, fat old blokes

as a six footer myself, the requirement for taller men than me is not only and aesthetic one but also is a turn on for me

I am only looking for taller guys too and have had people getting abusive or difficult when I've had to tell them they're not tall enough even though I am never rude about it. It's nothing to do with what sort of person they are, it's just that I am 5.10, my hubby is shorter than me and the only reason we are here is to find a taller guy to be my lover. It's not just about height though because they also have to match the other things in our profile. I've even had guys getting all upset because they are much younger than the age range we feel comfortable meeting. One of them was only a couple of years older than our son and when I explained he still wouldn't accept it and got all upset. People are here to find what they're looking for and nobody should try to tell anyone else that they should really be looking for something different.

I am 5.7 and turned up on a number of social and the guys have been much shorter than what they stated on their profile.

One guy was a good six inch shorter than he said and that was with his Cuban heels on

Exactly. Just because I only want to meet a taller guy doesn't mean I think shorter guys are all awful or that height is all that matters. The same goes for age too. It's not only about these things but I already have a really nice, shorter man in my life and he's my hubby.

Any taller woman that finds shorter men attractive are clearly more comfortable with who they are. They look inside the man, not at his visual appearance. It shows an acquired well thought out choice. It clearly shows there's more to the man and woman than height.

Look at Sophie Dahl and Jamie Cullum. Any woman who can't look at a guy for who he is rather than his height is quite clearly vain. They can justify it all they want as 'preference' but it is inherently insecurity and vanity.

And, it's also their loss. They get lied to over a guys height, meet the twat and he's shorter!

Either that or he is tall and an arrogant dick or has bad hygiene...Still, their loss, the comments in this thread made me think these 'pro tall' ladies are wholly unattractive...

I go for guys I fancy since they are all taller than me anyway (and if not because I am in heels then I just take my heels off) but I get the feeling selfish guilt when I have met a really tall guy. It soon passes, though.
