showing deleted message status

I am the only person who dislikes the fact that someone can see when you have deleted their message without reading it. I get stating if someones read or replied but not deleted.

I find some people get quite nasty if you delete their messages and not reply to them and end up having to block them because of it.

Yes ... I agree .....I sometimes just delete in bulk as I havnt got the time to read every message and reply to each one .... then I get the ... how rude and ignorant I am .... and sometimes I get sworn at ....

Do they not just see 'Deleted' therefore they wouldnt know whether its been read or not?

I think your right it just shows deleted but the issue to still the same. People assume your ignoring them and they get nasty. Surely it would be better if they just stated read or unread.

I'm sure which ever way you do it , the people on here who get stressy about being ignored will still get stressy unfortunately ....

Personally I like the feature I rather see my messages is deleted than sit there wondering.

As the poster above said some people will get stress anyway.

It is either read, unread or deleted. The sender won't know if you deleted the message unread or not, just that you got rid of it.

I see it from a different perspective

Unread = possibly set back for partner to consider

Read = Under consideration / on a short list / to busy to reply.

Deleted = Not interested / to busy to reply
