I wish people who aren't looking for single guys would stop putting "Men" in the list of people they are looking for. Very annoying!!! Sorry, whinge over

FAQ gives one explanation:

Someone has blocked single males but their profile says they are looking for single males!

This means that they want to find and contact single males first, rather than be innundated with messages from them.
