Why have settings when they don't work

I have my age thingy set so between that age

Why have I just had a message from someone younger

Yes having a rant

And while I'm at it ..silhouettes ... there is an awful lot of them That's it rant over

I shall go and sit in the corner out of the way

I have filters stopping anyone with no public pics from messaging me but I get lots of messages from people with a silhouette avatar and no public pics

Problem with that one takes seconds to make one public send the message and change it back frustrating

I wonder if they have pics but in private ...as it flummoxed me ...as I have all my filters on ..

So even though my filters are set tight and the age thingy is set

Even though they are verified, a gold member,have pics

They can message you

But the age is under

No, people say that is the reason, but it's broken. You will see the same behaviour in search/browse.
