yes, ive opened up a part two, because i dont think this request should go away.

i think it makes good business sense and i have sent the link to part one, directly to admin. if i hear anything back i shall let you know at once.

i have been overwhelmed by the support for this shown here and i hope it continues to gather more names and more positive comments.

so this is the original request....

while this is ultimately a swinger site the bridging of the gap between BDSM and swinging is happeneing and while extremist against BDSM are present, it would be nice to have a BDSM support subforum, for us who bridge both scenes to share info and experiences without resorting to the lounge, where those with no interest, troll the threads..

it worked for the politics forum and it would be nice not to have to direct them off site for the support and education, some of us would like to impart.

please think about it FAB. x

I am willing to wholeheartedly agree somewhat.

However, if , and only if we (meaning, Like-minded and interested parties) could get a B/D, D/s, as well as a S&M section into the interest area would be an Excellent start to gaining further understanding of the government of the site. It would also stop the flight of person/s from the site, to seek solace elsewhere, forming a bridged community.

I thank you for bringing this subject up, and to the forefront of 'ALL' our minds.

Would so be up for this most clubs which are primarily swingers clubs have playspaces/dungeons primarily for bdsm and kink and some even have kink events these people know and identify their market and run an inclusion service for us swingers with a taste for the exotic that comes under the bdsm umbrella. Come on now fab it's an option to display on our profiles so please also run an equal playing field like clubs do and allow us a bdsm forum/sub forum/section however it's described. It's good business sense to run an inclusion policy with a safe discussion area

Very true, it does make a lot of sense, let's face it almost all the swinging clubs also do fetish and kink too. But the gap is being closed more from swingers with an open appetite that kinksters who can be - well, surely you've met some at some time - anally retarded?

Don't expect Fab to jump on ANY changes yet . . if their sensible their waiting until they see what the "Amendments" to the "Digital Economy Bill" will have as an effect upon the industry in the Spring.

We do this for fun and get hundreds of mails a day so we can't respond personally to questions about the site or your account. We recommend if you have a problem or can't figure out how something works, you post to the site help forum. If we responded to everything that people sent us, we'd spend all our time (and more!) doing that and not improving/running/fixing the site. Or, we'd have to employ customer service goons to read and respond to questions from a minority of users at everyone's expense and we'd not be able to do as much as we can for so little cost to you. We do read all mail you send and encourage feedback. If you have reported a problem with the site we will fix it.

thankyou for this comment smnd for your information i am on a bdsm site, however its uk and usa mixed, does not run on a profile based platform and is not that user friendly. plus i like sex with my kink, so prefer swingers club scene and dungeons to do it in, with the mix of other people joining in.

i could start up a group on the bdsm site, its true, however, id like to support here as its uk based and would like specific feedback before considering taking other action.

kink is booming and the crossover is growing and its good business sense membership wise. no one wants to direct anyone to another site, for what i see as a simple request..maybe its not such a simple request, however id like to hear that from admin themselves.x

If you want a "support" forum then why don't you post under support and advice?

If you put BDSM into every thread title then it's easily searchable too.

I'm no expert but isn't the site limited by law as to the sort of images and discussions it can host? I think certain more fetishy key words might also be filtered automatically which might make kinky chat more difficult.

I can't decide whether it is a no or not, I was just saying that a lot of the subjects wouldn't be allowed on the forum anyway.The reason for that is because of the laws ( and are being added to again this year ) that were set not long ago plus advice Admin have had from their lawyers.

I don't actually see anything there that would be a problem for the discussion of bdsm. Unless you want to take the general opinion that consensual spanking or flogging for example is abuse. Then obviously that's going to rule out a whole host of stuff.

To be fair to this - or any other adult themed web-site - nobody yet knows how the ramifications of the combination of "The Snoopers Charter" (on statute books since end of last year) added to the revised Sexual Offences (on statute books since late 2014) will be brought into one probable savage and restrictive censorship when the Digital Economy Bill and it's amendments get Royal Approval and thus go onto the Statute Books in the early Spring.

Until that day I would not be too harsh at all on ANY adult web-site wherever they are based if they would rather wait and see what happens next.

But . . but . .

The answer you have given on behalf of this web-site is a little too . . wide spread, a little too much of an excuse. Let's be VERY clear even the most restrictive of censorship is NOT going to make "BDSM" - or other effected fetishes - illegal to put on-line in a sensible manner . . and all the OP is asking for is a dedicated place for that to be provided within this web-site.

After all, when either the present financial problems or the Government blocking access to web access to their Canadian servers mean that the VERY popular fetish site that starts with the letter as yours but has over 5.5 MILLION members can no longer be used by British citizens . . there will be huge numbers seeking a new home.

" havn't read all of the blurb on whats allowed in the way of the laws so I can't answer that.

But I can say as one of the forum mods that the threads were removed as they broke this sites rules that Admin have set

To be fair to this - or any other adult themed web-site - nobody yet knows how the ramifications of the combination of "The Snoopers Charter" (on statute books since end of last year) added to the revised Sexual Offences (on statute books since late 2014) will be brought into one probable savage and restrictive censorship when the Digital Economy Bill and it's amendments get Royal Approval and thus go onto the Statute Books in the early Spring.

Until that day I would not be too harsh at all on ANY adult web-site wherever they are based if they would rather wait and see what happens next.

But . . but . .

The answer you have given on behalf of this web-site is a little too . . wide spread, a little too much of an excuse. Let's be VERY clear even the most restrictive of censorship is NOT going to make "BDSM" - or other effected fetishes - illegal to put on-line in a sensible manner . . and all the OP is asking for is a dedicated place for that to be provided within this web-site.

After all, when either the present financial problems or the Government blocking access to web access to their Canadian servers mean that the VERY popular fetish site that starts with the letter as yours but has over 5.5 MILLION members can no longer be used by British citizens . . there will be huge numbers seeking a new home.

Our word "excuse" was more of a comment about the high probability that this web-site's owners are simply taking an umbrella view or shot-gun response to valid and honest comments made by site members. The natural trepidation in making ANY comment on what this web-site has to do in order to withstand just about the worst sexual censorship that British citizens may be forced to fall in line with seems to have created a "say nothing" attitude in the vast majority of adult web-sites.

By fair the greater proportion of Fab users haven't even heard of this coming storm and thus continue in a blinkered manner . . but they would also be the first to bleat like stuck pigs if, one day, they found they couldn't sign-in to Fab . . true?

Yet, it DOES make great sense for the site owners to consider a trial project for a BDSM flavoured Group/Forum and enough is known about the forthcoming laws to say now what to ban. So . . it is feasible to try.

. . . and, as they say, better the Devil you know.

The "aforementioned site" has this as a regular issue, I believe it is because it is listed as "porn" so widely that phone companies will filter out access.

Sometimes you may simply need to ensure that your phone is "unlocked" to use/view "adult content".

Equally the "aforementioned site" is presently a house of cards built upon sand. Their fault too!

I'm on the other site as well, who are also having trouble with the probable new laws. Lots of groups and discussions were wiped off recently and they are hoping to stay under the radar.
