Webcam Verifications

After a discussion in the Irish forums, I'm curious.

If, according to the site rules, males can't be initially verified by webcam, then why is the option available to do so?

Surely if a guy cannot be verified by cam then the ability to do so should be removed.

Similarly with phone verifications.

i don't entertain guys who's only verification is by webcam,to me that only proves there alive,nothing better than veri's saying this guy turns up on time.
