This has probably been asked for before and there is probably a very good technical reason for not doing it but... could the local updates list work based on a radius rather than postal area?

Whilst it is fun to know what people over 90 miles away in Anglesey are up to, we'd quite like to see what people 10 miles away in Chester are doing too!

I'm guessing right now the local list is generated on a postcode area basis (everyone in LL gets the same list). If you were to drop that down to district level (LL12), using the centre of that district and then show all activity for anything other districts within a, say, 20 mile radius?

You still get to aggregate the local activity lists (rather than calculating them on a user by user basis) but now the lists are based on proximity rather than the royal mail's allocation of postal areas.

Admittedly you'd be generating at least 20x more lists.

We're testing radius for anyone in greater London at present

Once we are happy it will roll out to all postcodes

will it also cover meets and events ?? also where the meets lists who they are looking for could you add age range please .
