I was wondering why is a friends only inbox not a feature on the site and would it be possible to make it happen.

Kind of defeats the point of having a suggestions/feedback forums if they're not reviewed though

The feedback forum is always read and taken in by Admin. If they implement anything they normally start a thread about it

Most suggestions have a downside, though, which might outweigh the upside. For example, a friends-only inbox would result in loads of people (those who presently don't get their messages read) sending friends-requests instead, to try to get access to their target's priority inbox.

And that, in turn, would lead to loads of threads bemoaning "why will no-one be friends with me".

Totally agree. Could make use of this today, I want a meet, but only with someone on my friends list, would be great simply to be able to message them in one go.

A few years back they did bring in the smiley face logo to try and help make friends massages stand out.

Being to do various sorting would help to organise messages and pull up older messages

I leave friends requests for a while & then bulk delete, they can't resend during that time.

And I'm sure they'd get told in no uncertain terms like they do now why they can't get friends / meets / sex...
