Should it be manditory to complete these fields and not have default values entered? Lots of profiles where they are just left at defaults

Maybe they have changed it, maybe they don't care what age people they meet, why does it really matter?

Sorry to be in 60+ group but fed up with 18 to 99 you contact the lady & she has 2nd thoughts about age. I must be so repulsive to Fab women here.

Admin to drop 18 to 99 as default & make profile user state a true age desire pls

I agree that it should be mandatory to select your preferred age range.

I started a post in this forum "I'm age they're looking for - suggested improvement" which is essentially the same thing.

Its frustrating when search results just match my age because they haven't changed the default age range.

We used to have 18 to 99 because you never really know if your comfortable with someone unless you meet them. Age is just a number.

But quite a few of the older folk who have contacted us in the past couldn’t seem to take no for an answer so we changed it.

Don’t mean we won’t meet older people, it just means we don’t want contact from them on here.

Because when I do a search and tick the "I'm age they're looking for" check box it always matches people who haven't set a preferred age range.

You can sometimes filter people out by checking the age of people who've verified them but that doesn't always work.

I'm 60 and have met lovely people in clubs and socials but I can't message them because I'm outside their preferred age range or they have blocked single men. Doesn't bother me in the slightest, I'll just wait until I see them again. Why are people so impatient these days?
