Why does the site allow users to be on cam in more than 1 chat room at any 1 time ? Are they that self centered they aren't satisfied that only 200 in 1 room are the only ones who can watch them ?

I've never understood why anyone would want to be in more than one room ever, whether that is on cam or just in plain old chat

Seems pretty pointless to me and also a waste of a space in a chatroom.

In fact I'm sure that sometime long ago Admin said that this would not be allowed in new chat and that steps had been taken to prevent it happening ?

Admin did stop people using more than one chatroom but some have found a way around it.

There is a post about somwhere were Admin say when they get time all the people who are using more than one chat room at a time are going to be banned for good.

we sometimes find it impossible to get into directing rooms as a number of selfish persons squat in all 4.....and always seem to be males who can't afford cameras. we like to be on cam in one room with others on cam....that is where the fun is

think there should be a room for people on cams only if you not got cam on you cant enter..it will stop all the knob head single guys going on and becoming a pain...

I have found that if I start off in one room with my cam on then it stays on in that room when I go cruising the rooms.

I personally don't intentionally keep my cam on in every room I flit into for a minute. So wouldn't that suggest that it is the mechanics of the chat rooms to fault!!!

so when i see 206 ppl in a chat room and i cant get in, is cos there is doublers? its doing my head in lol...I think my new platinum account should guarantee me entry to any chatroom while kicking other people out lol....maybe not hot fems/cpls who seek someone like me of course...

Just to state our intention on this going forwards:

1. The one room rule enforced better in the chat software with no "sneak arounds".

2. Site supporters to be able to enter any room, if the room is full they'll enter in a read-only mode so will be able to view text/cams but not contribute

Timescale: Summer.

Anyone viewing your cam when you leave a room will still be able to see you dancing like a mad thing

when you go to another room. Only people in your current room will be able to START watching you.

What is being complained about here is people who stay in the 1st room AND (by abusing a loophole in the chat software) also enter other rooms. As has been said, above, when you change room you can see the same user in several rooms and can see, from the time that they have been in the room, that they haven't moved at the same time as you.

Would a read-only supporter become write-enabled when a slot became free, on a queue system, or would you need to keep an eye on the number in the room and pop out and back in? Would other users be able to see that the supporter was there, but read-only?

Yes

No. But any blocks or whatever would work as normal

The guy I reported today (Gen chat and all 4 directing!) wasn't a site supporter! I think he is using it as a way to see more than one cam without paying. He clearly wasn't monitoring the chat, cos when I went through each room, asking if he could keep track of all 5 rooms at once, he didn't respond

Didnt know this was a problem, although I can understand it from a directing rooms thing.

So, to clarify.... if I go into old Welsh chat, and Beta welsh chat at same time I am gonna get banned?

So I dont get to chat with all my friends at once?

And.... I havent been sneaky or geeky and found a techie way around it, I just clicked on beta one day when I was already in old chat and "pop" in I went, would have been nice to know I was breaking the rules, wish someone had told me, didnt think I was doing anything wrong.

LOL but if site tried to 'force' people to turn their cam on..... we'd just see 150+ men masturbating on cam, rather than the 20 or so that do so now! I don't know about you, but I've seen more than enough willies on cam!

There is one couple who are not site supporters in 4 rooms......we now adopt the action that if we see people in more than one room at the time we block them so they can't see our cam. If we all did this I believe the problem would soon resolve itself.

Question: If your have a couple/female profile you can legally chat in multiple rooms ? ie with out bending the rooms. Whether there a site supporter or not?

True :D I just want to raise a point. In my opinion all the rules should apply equally to everyone, no matter what your status is couple/fem/male. I maybe wrong, I believe this room more than one room ban only applies too single guys. I can full understand why these decisions are taken. Just do not like being singled out because of my status. Especially in this climate of PC etc. See what those dedicated admin folks think. They have a difficult job trying to please everyone. Even more so with this wonderful site being sold as fun, FREE and fab. :P respect

The 'rule' about only being in 1 chatroom at a time applies equally to everyone (couple/female/male). Admin are aware that some members have found a sidedoor to enable them to be in more than one room at a time/view more than one cam without being site supporters, and are planning a) to close this sidedoor and b) to ban those members from chat.

For two reasons, this is likely to affect men more than women, and those reasons are:-

~ more men than women watch the cams without chatting (women like to CHAT in the chat rooms, so one chatroom at a time is fine for us!)

~ men tend to be more technologically inventive than women, so they have both the incentive and the ability to find the 'sidedoor', whilst the women are too busy chatting to care.

So, to summarise, there is no 'sex discrimination' in Fab, it's an inbuilt gender difference.

Don't get me wrong I know exactly what people (generally men) are like :P. Kind of learn a few things when you been Video/Chatting for +10 years

I was quite shocked by some peoples post further up this thread.

Just think back to what old 'Userplane' chat was like compared to this 'New' chat system. Obviously New is a Vast improvement. It's only natural that it will evolve and continually change.

Ok here we go...recently i have noticed couples that have been in more than 1 room at the same time...on cam....

i noticed because i flipped between 2 cam rooms and same couple was on cam. Why is it single guys that get the bashing if people on cam wernt 2 rooming then it wouldnt be a problem
