Would it not be a good idea if 2 (or more) members that have hot listed each other were alerted somehow such as a 'you have hot listed each other' in the side bar ?

Isn't that what the block function is for?

I use my hotlist for 'my god you are amusing in a really bad way'. So no, that isn't what the block button is for.

The block button is for people who don't understand the 'no' concept.

This.

I use my hotlist as a twat list, people I like to keep an eye so we don't end up at the same place at the same time. I can't do this if I block them.

Perhaps a 'Not Hot' button would be good too!

"Perhaps a 'Not Hot' button would be good too!"

or as someone already suggested a twat button. There does need to be a rethink of the block button though. I use it for those who are not looking for single men or who haven't replied to a message ( as with fab rules - not interested) so they don't appear in updates or future searches. I know they can change their...not meeting single men any time... but it's an instant block as it's a switch gone off in my head about them. So yes another button please for filtering out individuals without blocking them would be good.

"I agree you should be made aware when there is a mutual like "

I think you'll find many won't use it at all then. It would probably create more chaos in inboxes for women so it would be counter productive.

Wouldn't be in inbox just note that they've hotlisted you too

Their inbox would be inundated with would be hopefuls looking a fuck. Many use the hot list just peeve the pics or follow someone interesting...not to meet them.

I can see it now...." I have added you to my hotlist, can you please hotlist me so I can see if it is working as I never get any 'You have hotlisted each other' messages, and I need to check if it is working...."

I hotlist people for various reasons and would clear the list if this 'feature' were introduced.

What's wrong with a wink if you don't have the cajones to write a message.

I wouldn't call it a t*** list but a list for suspected time wasters would be good too!
