now we have more options in our privacy would it not be a good idea to bring in a few tweeks ie how about if you set your privacy so single guys, newbies, unverified profiles cant mail/wink it also stops your profile from appearing on the search or that your profile wont be displayed to to the profiles you dont wish to be contacted by also be a good idea to have it in chat too same thing if a newbie was to come into chat room because of your privacy settings they would not be able to see what u type in room or see your cam..

just wondering if anyone else would use these features if we had them?

so you want to block every one,

who will you talk to ?

and how will you meet new people ?

Hi. You can put a block on anyone from contacting you - if you don't want single guys or unverifieds contacting you, just check the tick so it becomes a cross. As for the chat room thing, not sure about that but you can just ignore anyone who speaks to you or ask them not to.

lol we talk to plenty of people but we rather talk to gen people, why give us the option of not to be contacted by single men ect if we aint gonna use them, we are just saying some wee tweeks would be good, we aint asking for more buttons we are asking if the people think its a good idea. you can block someone using the block button, but some of us cant be bothered by all the crap messages we get via mail and in chat.

its all about giving the user more choices on who can contact them....

so the newbies are not genuine????.....ha ha.....and i thought this was supposed to be a friendly site.....lets embrace new members and treat them as genuine....until they are "outed"

Actually, your suggestion would be all about giving the user more choices on who can't contact them....

That's OK in itself but somewhere there's a bit of software making a decision about who can contact who and who can't and the more we ask of it the slower the site will become - and I don't think anyone wants that.

Yeah, but there's clearly a need to be able to screen out messages from members based on hair colour, the kind of car they own and BMI. After all you wouldn't want to get a message from a slim blonde if you're a BBW redhead fancier, would you?
