Site performance and stability

We've been working pretty much non-stop on site performance and stability over the past couple of weeks

We think we've fixed the issue that was resulting in occasional outages at peak times, as well as improving site speed

As always comments welcome!

thanks for the hard work love the site...just sometimes chat moves to quick for little me..laughs..thought was gr8 when it was slow at least could keep up with chat..now just lose it after 5sec's ... H.

Unfortunately this is just a function of how many people are chatting in a room.

We're open to (and actively considering) the idea of resticting each room to slightly less people maybe 175 rather than 200.

Reducing numbers will only be fair if you can stop people being in several rooms at the same time. It is now common practice for numbers of people to be in every room.

and it already getting harder and harder to go into a directing room on cam beacuse of all the non cammers who clog the space and don't do anything.....directing rooms restricted to those of us who go on cam will cure the problem.

but true.....if we are in a directing room surely we can ask those off cam to come on cam and perform......despite all claiming they do not have cams...which all recent laptops and desk tops do.....lets getreal directing means all can be direceted...unless we have something to fear

the thread is about managing the directing rooms....which is easy if we stop people going in several at the same time and we all are willing to be directed on cam......directing goes for all parties and those off cam hate being directed lol
