i think the site would be made even better by allowing a space to add comments to peoples pics x

just make it so any comments can be removed by the user and maybe make it something you can sign out of

Default will be comments off people can select only friends can comment, or anyone can comment only people who can comment are people who can PM the user so filters + blocks apply

Alot of sites do it...dont see the point of it myself though....

we would not want our pictures to be commented on.We are going to have memebrs upset by unfair comments and their being libeled.Why look for a problem...leave things alone

I hope there will also be an option to opt out completely...From a personal point of view, my pics are taken with an old digital camera and a self timer (it shows, yes I know) but what you see, is what you get, no air brushing or professional photographers were involved in the making of mine, lol. I can see this turning into a competition, just like verifications and friends lists are now...but some will participate. Some will like the option but I am not one who needs my ego brushed daily. If you don't like my pics, don't message me....simples.

and i hope that the default setting to this is "opt out"... because if it is the other way round i can see a lot of people taking down pics.....

why do people want to rate others pics or comment on them anyway.... is the fact they are there not good enough? do people ego's really need stroking that much and give them a boost???

My initial thought was "Jesus! How desperate for attention are some people? How much ego massaging do they need?!!"

Personally we wouldn't comment on anyones photos, nor would we expect anyone to comment on ours, so for us it's a pointless waste of space, but to those members who need the ego boost of someone commenting ... your time has arrived but remember, you'll have to take the rough with the smooth, your ego may be boosted one minute but a minute later it could be shattered like a pane of glass.

I can see some people who like this idea being very upset once they have been rated a few times.

If you do that though people will wonder why you hide them. The best idea is you have to opt in. If you want people to be able to rate your pics then opt in.

Please admin say you can totally opt out of this or better still make it you have to opt in. This idea is really going to bruise some egos. Just using filters is not enough.
