Definitely! Some on here really make me giggle, I suggested it before though and got told ' it's not fucking face book' but I think it's a great idea x

I think messaging someone is more invasive than a "like" would be. Which is probably why many find it necessary to block certain senders. I couldn't message you if I liked your status, for example.

wouldn't it just be set as another way to try and get round filters then? personally, I wouldn't be the slightest bit interested in whether someone liked my status most especially if it was someone I had filtered out...

I must admit I hadn't thought about that.

But, I still think it wouldn't be so bad because...

I think most people would treat it this way and it'd be more about the number of likes than about who liked it. So not a good way to try to get round blocks.
