Server upgrade, offline Tues 5th April

We're doing an upgrade of one of our database servers tomorrow (Tues 5th April) between 06:30 and 07:00. Site will be offline for around 10 minutes during that time.

As always we'll add time to all site supporter passes so no one loses out.

Thanks for the heads up on that. I usually log in around 6-30 to 7 and have a nosy before work. I'll have to make do with my normal sites

HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable....

only been logged on for 30 in for 30 mins and had this 5 times.

not one to moan on here normally.. but it happening more and more.

It's being worked on. We've had a couple tonight, sorry

We hope to have it resolved within the week.

Sorry - we rebooted the server to see if it clears the issue for tonight.

We'll be adding an hour to all site supporter passes for this-evenings glitches.

Apologies again and like we say we're working pretty much full time on this issue.

The upgrade wasn't to fix the ongoing issue, just to give us more capacity for the rest of the year. We're still working on the glitching!

I don't know if it's to do with the upgrade/s but the forum seems noticably quicker at quieter times, like now - Thursday 00.46.
