I have at least 3 full length photos on my profile when it's visible (i.e. when I'm looking), none of which were taken from "clever" or "flattering" angles. Unfortunately, having honest photos attracts a lot of insults from total strangers, some of which have actually driven me away from even having meets at the moment. Personally, from experience, I can well see why women are disincentivised from actually showing what they look like. Some arseholes can't just move on if someone doesn't appeal, they just have to be vile and insulting. | |||

Possibly more pertinent even than anything you've said. Why should I not take part? Particularly as being totally honest about my shape has resulted in those not wanting to meet me trying to destroy my self-confidence and force me off the site through sheer malice. There were plenty of people interested but I don't feel confident enough to meet anyone right now. That means that the ratio of men to women is worsened and the men who would meet those another guy doesn't want to meet are now more likely to be competing for those he is interested in. I've also said on previous threads my bust is 5 dress sizes larger than my hips and 4 dress sizes larger than my waist. Even with all that I'd happily bet nobody could accurately deduce my vital statistics." I wouldn't have a scooby do tbh but I'm rubbish when it comes to judging sizes & ages. I have ridiculously tiny ankles, wrists, calves & forearms balanced out with very broad shoulders, sturdy thighs & a tummy. I vary in dress from shop to shop so can't really give an accurate dress size either. | |||

I can't even give individual dress sizes for bust, waist and hips that would be meaningful to anyone. It's a ridiculous concept. A 5 ft size 16 will look totally different to a 6 ft size 16. Two women of the same height and weight, but one with 15% body fat and one with 40% body fat will also look completely different. Hell, weight distribution varies so even two women of the same height, weight AND body fat can look very different. I'd be a smaller dress size and would look smaller if a chunk of my weight was on my bum and thighs rather than on my stomach. The bottom line is people ate going to have to stick to using photos to decide if someone is attractive to them, and having a social if they want to be sure. Really, anyone would think it's astrophysics or brain surgery or something. | |||

" I can only speak for myself, obviously, but I, too, am an ardent defender of the right of every person on this site, (and in the world in general), to have preferences; even if they exclude me. I've no issue, at all, with the existence of elite events with entry requirements I do not meet. The only people who should be ashamed or embarrassed about insulting those who do not match their preferences are those that actually do it, or that clearly support doing it. The choice of whether to attend an event organised by someone whose behaviour you find objectionable is yours, of course. However, in my opinion at least, doing so is in no way an endorsement of the unpleasant behaviour. I'm well able to see that attending an event you enjoy in no way suggests you support any aspect of the organiser's behaviour. If I judged you in such a way, I'd have to shoot myself for subscribing to Sky TV! I respect anyone who has strong moral values and sticks to them, and I can understand why someone would opt to boycott the OPs events; but I wouldn't think badly of them for not doing so. | |||

" And thats the true spirit of alternative lifestyles IMHO Acceptance of others without the need to belittle or past judgement There are many preferences, lifestyle choices and kinks that i have no interest in, but I would never feel the need to become nasty towards those that hold different views or preferences to mine How a person conducts themselves is the only way I make a judgement about them, and some have conducted themselves in a very ugly manner on this forum | |||

The nastiness from some posters has been unacceptable, everyone has a choice and preference (ours being based more on personality) but to demean a specific group of people, betrays the perpetrator as someone with low self esteem who feels the need to do so as to raise there own sense of self worth | |||
