FabSwingers.com forum: PM in new chat

Hi,

We are new to fab (although use another swinging site too) and are so far enjoying things. But, the pm in the new chatroom is horrendous to use. If you're chatting in the main chat and want to have private conversations too it is almost impossible as the pm has its own window that gets hidden as soon as you want to put something in the main chat: When you want to have multiple conversations then this is just impossible

Would it be possible to have pms come up in tabs rather than seperate windows then you could just click on the tab and easily switch between conversations.

I hope I have explained things clear enough. If I haven't please feel free to main us

Admin are looking at this and how to improve it.

In the meantime, re size the main chat window with the mouse, move it to one side and line up the pm window(s) in the now free space.

It's good to know it is being looked at (tabbing works well on other sites).

We know about resizing but this still causes problems and is impossible if you have multiple people wanting to pm you

We're looking at a tab thing for this but by the time we get it sorted everyone will probably be used to the PMs in windows!

Its nice to know that admin are looking into this and we understand what you are saying about the PMs in windows. But could you please explain how to manage multiple windows (ie 5-10) which easily happens if you put on a show

and we dont want to turn them off because we like being able to chat to individuals.

Sorry to be pests, but we really do find this part (and it is one of our main parts) to be unworkable

wont make any difference. Try it for yourself to see what we mean. Try having the main window and maybe 5 or 6 PMs on the go and see if you can do it?

hi ma chatboxez kp vanishin wen i git pmz n all ma boxez r minimized so watz happnin grrrrrrr buggin ma titz nw like also chat kpz freezin up am sick o havin 2 kp comin owt n goin bk in itz not ma connection x HELP ME PLZ X

As you can see from the above comment made in another room we are not the only ones unhappy with the current set up
