At the moment, if you make a mistake when posting to the forum ie typo, the only option is to delete it (if youre quick enough).

How come there is no edit facility?

To stop people from posting something horrible, getting everyone riled up, then sneaking back later, changing their post, and pretending that they're all innocent.

A way around could be either to extend the time you are allowed to revise your post or to colour code your changes or even quote when it was last updated!

I can symphathise that some of us are perfectionists and would welcome the opportunity to make some minor corrections.
