Can anyone tell me what the mods actually do ? And how their picked to do this role?

Mods are regular members of the site who volunteer to do certain tasks under the direction of the Admin.

Some do the photo approval, some monitor the Forums and Chatrooms.

You can put forward your name as a prospective Mod by contacting Admin via the 'CONTACT' link [bottom of the page]. There's a page somewhere that gives this information but I couldn't find it when I went looking.
