Hi I'm not yet a site supporter but am wanting to know if the android phone cam is functional both ways so you can interact with specific members live. I am not always able use pc/laptops.

Feedback on this would be much appreciated, thanks

Hi, my understanding is that you can watch cams but not broadcast on android. that is my experience too. Cheers, lee

Good news! You can now view cams on most devices even if they don't have Flash: iPads, iPhones, Android tablets and smartphones, Kindle Fire and more...

That's what it says when you click on CHAT above .... says nothing about broadcasting

Anyone know the tech reason why the default browsers cant transmit?

(I'm a geek).....

I always assumed it was a Flash thing but clearly not...

Off to download the Puffin Browser

It is a flash thing. Apple has no flash and android is no longer supported and hasn't been updated for years.

Brill Ta....so two way vid must use the latest html.....

Surprised it doesnt work on Chrome on Android tbh I would assume that was up to date...

Feedback.....

I could go into a tech discussion but here is the summary re the Puffin Browser on Android...

In a nutshell....Its shite

Tried on a Tesco Hudl2 (oldish tech) and a Samsung Galaxy S7 or G7 phone (whatever the hell this is)...the latest one that cost me £550!

Slow n clunky on Fab Chat on both devices in transmit and recieve mode.

Was hoping to be able to ditch the laptop/webcam combo at hotels but no chance yet...

So there ya go.....may try the ipad as a last ditch attempt to find a semi-portable perv cam transmit solution
