Hi all,

I have read through the faq's, but still cant find an answer. I am photo verified, and I have met someone that I would like to verify. I cant verify them because I am only photo verified, but they can't verify me as they are not verified at all....

Any suggestions?

If you are a single guy then you need to meet someone that has already been verified (not just photo-verified).

If the other site member you have met is a single female or couple, they could pop on to the chatrooms to get cam verified by another verified site member. Try not to be pushy with them about this as they may not like the idea of going on a webcam. If that's the case, you'll have to wait until you get another meet (with a verified) or they do, and they get verified.

You don't have to be verified only by a couple or female - there's nothing to stop a male verifying you.

If, for example, you went to a Social and got on well with some of the males there then it's possible a single male or a MM couple could verify you.

Just to follow on from Frock Off's message above, it doesn't have to be the other person you met that gets verified via webcam or phone... there's nothing to stop you going in to the chat room and seeing if you can get verified that way.

The Verified by Webcam and Verified by Phone options will then allow you to verify other people.

The only one that doesn't count is, as you've found out, the Photo Verified.

Saying that, some people who do take verifications into consideration will only consider a Verified in Person to be a true reflection that a person isn't a tiemwaster / pic collector / piss taker.

You need to find someone who is already verified and ask them to verify you. If you are a couple or a woman then you can get verified by webcam or phone. An easy way to do this is to go into the chatroom while you are both there, switch your webcam on and ask someone to verify you. If you are a single guy then you need to meet someone.

It looks like rules have been changed?

I'm reading the last sentence as "you can't get cam/phone verified if you are a single guy".

....or do I need more sleep? lol!!

It does look like the rules have changed, and, yes, that's the way I'd enterpret that sentence!

I'm not particularly impressed by webcam veri's, but surely the rules should be the same for males and females?

The rules haven't changed that text in the FAQ we simply copied over when we took ownership of the site in December 2008.

Can you check the way that the veri code works and update that text if necessary? There seems to be some confusion!

I am having trouble accepting a verification a girl has left on my profile. The message she has left is there but it won't let me highlight it to accept it! Strange ???? Any help
