I hate to criticise this site, it's a great site. But the message system here is just impossible to cope with. For those of us who get a lot of messages it can be pretty stressful to keep up. I'm constantly having to delete read messages, and I'm always missing messages because they get pushed off the bottom of the page so quickly.

A threaded inbox would be so much easier. One thread for each user you are talking to, just like most sites work. It sounds like a big rewrite, but in my opinion it's the best improvement they could make to this otherwise excellent site.

If you pay to subscribe, you can view back through all the to-and-from messages IN A THREAD. However, this requires people to always use the same message thread. As soon as someone makes a NEW message to someone they're talking to, this makes a new thread between those people, and the two (or more) threads aren't linked together.

They also disappear when deleted so it's not always that helpful!

That used to work years ago but if any of the messages get delete the thread doens saty like it used too, really annoying the way it works now

I have a lot of filters on, but having been on here a lot of years they aren't so effective for me anymore as I can still get hundreds through a week. I quite regularly get messages from someone I spoke to 4/5years ago. I'd love to know what we said then as it will also give me a clue as to whether I'm interested now!

The mailbox system is a nightmare; instead of increasing the size of profile avatars and putting numbers against how many people have viewed us today..

...please sort the mail box out; its been like this for 5 years; its the single worst thing about the site

Yes, nothing more than current system viewed another way, no benefit at all.

We absolutely agree with the OP, this may be the best sex contact site in the UK but even if you're a subscriber the abilities to handle information you want to access at another time simply isn't there.

It's almost as if you get no more advantages then the free-loader's but you just get more of it.

Surely, with all the server space used up with pix, some resources can diverted to "messages"?

We think the biggest impact would be made by allowing subscribers to create "personal folders" within their account? Then we can keep accurate records of what we or others said or similar thus saving us time!

C'mon Admin . . surely the creation of "Folders" here won't break the internet?

We too do not believe the filter system works as it should, for instance, how can we be messaged by a solo male with no pix, only just joined and a free-loader and no veri's? We have those set in our filters . . yet we got the above message????

We also believe that if you run your membership around say two or three filters it only requires free-loaders to meet just one and they get past the others!!!

Admin! If your member's use multiple filters it means they are COMBINED not individually optional!!!

I honestly believe it wouldn't just help the ladies with a million messages if things changed - I think it would also help the guys with 3 messages (as stated above) as it would make it more manageable for the ladies meaning less time spent deleting etc and more time replying

Have all the filters on possible apart from ones that filter out people who can't or won't read profiles and an area filter would be good to stop people who live miles away from me but as these are not available don't know what else I can do to stop the amount of messages I get from people that don't remotely match what I'm looking for .......

Not quite right. If you read the rest of the thread you may understand.....

If someone starts a new conversation by hitting message instead of reply then the convo is lost! If someone deletes their messages then you only see part of the convo too.

We are talking about an inbox like Facebook where no matter when or how you establish contact the thread is always there.

Would be helpful to be able to go straight to that persons messages from within the person profile as you can see messages have been sent but can't always find them.
