It is a shame that there is no real way of sorting out real time wasters from genuine ppl...

For some like myself it can be difficult getting time windows for meets & then when it turns out to be a total waste of time plus a waste of time to a host also it becomes a real pain in the rear end...

We should have a way to be able to name & shame these ppl that only use this site to waste others time..sadly we can't but it is a real problem with quite a number of ppl on here not being genuine & who they say they are.

I do what it says on the tin & I expect nothing less from others that get in touch with me but sadly that is not the case & there are far too many ppl at the ready to waste my time & to me my time is valuable time I could be spending with others that are genuine.

jake i agree we should be able to name am shame i think esp people that r silver or gold paying in to site ,would get rid all them then but when its free you get the pricks men and girls .....getting a waste time this site to be honest i think wnt be paying for it again but they dnt listen admin thought we had freedom to give feed back but not the case here

Sadly the bigger the site's getting the worse the problem is becoming. We've been on here just over two years and the numbers who can be online have tripled so with it will be more timewasters. A hell of a lot of people it seems are just on here for the buzz and have no intentions of ever having a "proper" meet.

We'll never allow name and shame of timewasters because a) it wouldn't solve anything and b) we imagine if you were named and shamed it would be pretty annoying for you.

If you find that you're getting a lot of "timewasters" you may want to look again at how you select prospective meets. We'll be adding a guide on this shortly because this question keeps cropping up

Some folks seem to rarely encounter "timewasters" and others seem to be driven wild by it:

Yes it does seem that way & the more there are the bigger the problem...i guess all we can do is tell friends who is a time waster if we do find any...

I just had a guy looking for Something uumm different...thanks not...but he wanted to know if I had MSN which I said yes but it's only for those I know..never answered a question at all I ask & went on to ask for my MSN...clearly a guy just wanting to get off so as to speak...yet more time wasters..

Being able to name and shame is NEVER EVER going to work. Why? Because so many users will have a field day naming and shaming everybody and anybody that refuses to meet them.

There are so many timewasters threads, usually (I said usually, not always!!) started by someone who is having a bit of a tough time getting a meet i.e. a single male. When asked to define what they mean by timewaster, they never seem to be able to give a straight answer..... there version of a timewaster could be someone who hasn't replied to mail, someone who has replied to mail but said 'no', someone that has said 'yes' but have changed their mind, someone that has cancelled a meet at the last minute because of a real emergency, someone they got chatting to but they seemed to have disappeared..... I don't need to go on anymore!!!

So then, if we could all name and shame after paying our fiver.... where do you think we will find the members that haven't been named and shamed for a pathetic reason??? Ermmm.... on another site perhaps?

If you haven't noticed yet, you can report users privately via their profile for the following reasons...

Spammer, Fake, Illegal, Hooker/Escort, Profile incomplete, Promoting other sites, Has chosen wrong sex (e.g. woman as couple, man as woman), Abusive, Asking to be given fake verification, Arranged meet, did not turn up, Other

Admin do take action when they see fit but they won't be able to do a thing if they don't know!

I do agree there are numpty's on here that have nothing better to do with their lives than wind other users up. They are just saddo's that need reporting and then ignoring!!!

Define time waster....Seems to me a lot of people are happy to plaster the label around to people who select or play differently to them.

As a single woman I chat for a couple of weeks, or longer, of that's what it takes for me to feel comfortable for me to allow someone I've met off the net into my home or go to theirs. Some people would class that as time wasting because they want to meet and shag straight off.

I also won't meet someone who doesn't take my fancy. I'm sure a lot of men class that as time wasting because it means they get a no.

Like admin said, if you're getting loads of people who make concrete arrangements to meet then disappear, perhaps you might want to look at little closer to home as to why it keeps going wrong. In 5 years of swinging, I've only had that happen once.

i dnt need to change my profile to be honest if u read it says what i dnt want and i never meet no one unless get to know them maybe a year or months but still get pricks on wasting you time ,there is genuine men but there is men on just to get there selfs off and waste time i block the pricks as you cnt win any other way .i never add to msn as once you get them on there only sex talk to be honest am on for real thing not cyber sex it bores me drys my minge up but all to there own ha ha

We add people to MSN and make it plain we don't cyber and it is just to arrange meets.

I wouldn't class them as time wasters, I would say they were men who wanted cyber but told us what they thought we wanted to hear to get what they wanted and we just block them from MSN.

You are going to get people like that on all sites, we accept that and them out

I have been a member on here for about 17 months, have had in excess of 20 meets through using the site, and have NEVER had a single instance of having anyone waste my time....

But then again I would only class a timewaster as someone who didn't turn up for a pre arranged meet....unfortunately many people see rejection or lack of interest from their swinging 'targets' as timewasting.

What really puts me off this site lately?......people going on about timewasters to be honest.

i had someone who was supposed to meet me on tuesday and we have speaking a while and he didnt turn up at my house. never texted or phoned me or messaged me

i class him as time waster so i blocked

naming and shaming won't work because they simply use many different names, I have every sympathy with your feelings, but just take a bit of time to read the verifications more closely, try to mail some of the people who have done the veris, and try to sprak to the actual person you are meeting first, I always try to arrange a social meeting before any play meetings, that usually sorts out the genuine from the fantasists, have fun, hugz, Ruby, xxx

i class him as time waster so i blocked I completely agree, any form of scial networking attracts 'bull shitters' and fab isn't going to be any different. Naming and shaming people is going to achieve absolutely nothing, report people and block them if you're not happy with their conduct it is the only way. As far as refusing approaches for msn, I am unable to use the chat rooms or cam because of my disability and I find msn is excellent for innitiating a friendship prior to speaking by phone and eventually meeting, again the few will always spoil it for the majority though, and I am sure tht cyver sex to some on fab is the bravest they can be. Col x"

i dont think some people class a time waster as a time waster

if someone changed there mind and not carried on messaging thats fine but when you go to a meet and there not there thats time wasting

Seems there are more spiteful people on here than there are time wasters, what would naming and shaming actually achieve? Will it make you feel better? Bearing in mind that people have different interpretations of what a time waster is, and think that if anything serious happened to stop a meet from happening many people would question if they were telling the truth even when genuine, some would even think its more important to call them and let them know even if you were stuck in a hospital grieving.

Would seriously question why people try meeting others online if all they encounter is time wasters, would be far easier to STOP whinging and visit a club.

My thoughts entirely....I do what is termed the boring ping - pong emails with any potential meet before I would consider making any arrangements, I think that is why I personally have never encountered a "time waster""

I couldn't agree more!

In three years I've yet to encounter a timewaster here or any site I'm on. May I suggest if you're encountering a lot of timewasters your selection process is at fault.

Try reading the words on the profile before perving the pics perhaps?

Sure there are loads of timewasters on this site as there are on every site.There always will be.

Personally the people that I've contacted and met have been very genuine but I think you have to accept there are unreliable people out there but I wouldn't give up because of them.

Just go out and have some fun because it's not all negative.

Apparently (according to a couple) WE are timewasters because THEY messaged US asking if we fancied meeting up for a social drink and we refused politely pointing out that one of us is under the weather with a cold at the moment (which had made us cancel other plans anyway).

Also can I add, THEY were expecting us to drive over an hour to meet them in THEIR local. They sent us the message after 8pm on the same evening they wanted us to meet. So even if we were up for it, I'm guessing we would have got there for about 11pm.... it takes me at least 1hr 30mins to get ready - sorry, I'm not into settling down in front of the telly with hair done and make-up on just in case we get a random message out of the blue from someone we haven't had any contact with previously asking to meet at the last minute.

How is this timewasting? Yet they called us timewasters!!! We did laugh at our new 'label' and the fact that we are happily sitting amongst other 'timewasters' on their block list.

It makes no difference what site you join, how much you pay to join it or how many times you 'name and shame', moan, kick and scream, there will always be people who are either perceived as timewasters or possibly are timewasters, but one thing for sure - it is a fact of life and something that you will have to get used to - simple as that!

So far as 'name and shame' is concerned, I don't agree with it and never will. Thank the Lord that the site owners don't, and never will allow it to happen.

lets be honest a few people have been let down for many reasons ..people getting cold, babysitter probs ect ect the list could go on and on ... but why worry about it put in down to experience and move on ...life is to short for worrying over this

BUT when we joined this site years ago it was the best you could join real people on here, but now as others have said its getting the dreamers that spoil a great site

Just hit report on the profile page if you arrange a meet with someone and they don't turn up.

If there is a pattern of behaviour Admin will take action.

If there is someone who is doing it more often than not then they should be given a warning. We should be able to leave some sort of feedback on these people.
