Forum Message Notifications

I think it would be cool if a notification was displayed on the home page whenever you posted a new forum thread, or reply.

Basically the same as how friends updates and status is shown.

Something along the lines of "Debaser69 has posted a new topic in The Lounge - and the title."

So people could click on the notification and link to the actual topic.

Any thoughts people?

Maybe the OP means that it will notify you of updates to any threads that you personally has responded too or started?

You're probably best just clicking the "view recent threads you've posted to" link? (lhs of forum)

Which would pretty much do what you want?

that way the thread cud be checked all time
