Ethnicity Option

I did post originally then thought that my suggestion was already an option but having checked again it's not.

At the moment you can choose the ethnicity you're looking for, but I think it would be super helpful if you could search for only people who are interested in your own ethnicity (correct PC term??). A lot of people seem to know exactly what type of person they're willing to meet and it would be much easier not to browse through lots of profiles of people for whom I'm not their type.

Just as an example, a lot of people love BBC only, so them showing up when I search is pointless as a white guy.

Just my two cents anyway...!

It would be great if you could search by sex in couples too, so for example south Asian woman, or black male etc.

I'm sure that was in a different site ousted to use! You could list yourself as interested in abc etc and people could search for that ..... Would be very useful saves time and block list

I think its a good idea. At the moment you can search by ethnicity one at a time. Being able to search multiple at a time would be a good addition also.

I can't say I agree with this, I am in no way racist, I despise racism! However, I certainly have a preference when it comes to men, I don't state on my profile what those preferences are but I will say that 99% of the time I can guarantee that I am not attracted to black or Asian men. I've had sex with black girls and find them attractive, but at 31 years of age, I have never found anyone other than a white man attractive. Likewise I have a friend who is 28 and never slept with a white man!! Some men would never have sex with me because I'm classed as large, I think it's unfair to call people 'simple' because they don't want to waste people's time.

Totally agree, what point is there in having the option to include or exclude people based on other details but not ethnicity?

Your correct of course but that point doest mean everyone should/will be attracted to them. As for ignorant or shallow it's a preference what people have it doesn't make them shallow or ignorant

I wouldn't actually filter based on ethnicity but would like for those people not looking for my ethnicity to be excluded from me search results.

I can't say I agree with this, I am in no way racist, I despise racism! Then all you need is tags for macho,femguy,sissy,bears,twinks,androgens, bi-genders,asexuals, pre-ops. ,post-ops, occasional dressers,breasts implants, prosthetics,tops,bottoms,chems,poppers,pot smokers,vapers,regional accents etc and anyone else I have forgotten. It was a joke, no BBC (Big Black Cocks) are not a race. Whenever I hear the term it sounds like a disembodied meat and two veg floating about, as it doesn’t talk about the person that the “BBC” is attached to at all.

Just wondering how people feel about this.

In a lot of profiles i read through, there are people who arent interested in a type of race (be it black guys middle eastern asian white etc) and thats fine. I dont consider that bad at all.

So would introducing filtering options or even search options based on race be a bad thing?

In the advance search it would save a lot of issues with, for example, females especially bombarded with mail they arent interested in, or couples only searching for a type of meet ( or Meat lol)

I think this could help us get what we are interested in a lot quicker and more efficiently.

The only potential issue is people mis-categorising themselves.

Eg.. My friend refers to himself as black as his dad is mixed race however if we are basing this on looks alone, he is white.

Also on the 'asian' front, Asia is a massive continent so you may not get quite what you are looking for.

Only playing devil's advocate but some points to consider

The mis-categorizing thing is interesting.

I'm mixed Carribean/White (that's how I prefer to describe myself) but am ambiguous-looking.

I do like the idea of racial filters though (have preferences myself and totally understand there exist folks who'd never find me appealing).
